My dear Sir,

– It certainly is not easy to judge a whole book read aloud: but still I think if you were to spend an evening with Mr. Marston to talk it over – it would be advisable. Will you write him, suggesting this? –

"Out of the Depths" seems to me a most thoughtful & good book – likely to do much good. –

I thank you much for sending it to me. –

I would not get near Henrietta Street this week – so lost the pleasure of seeing your sister-in-law. –

Beleive me, dear Sir, Yours very truly, DMulock
